I once thought that the notion of humans being reincarnated as animals was just a Dharmic thing, but then I stumbled upon some Cathar texts who claim that all animals (or at least all mammals) are reincarnations of the same spirits. I know Urianism states that all human spirits originated from animal spirits fusing together, but I just want to know: if a human has done extremely vile things in life, and the soul goes to Abaddon, is there a chance of the spirit diminishing and becoming an animal spirit? I know you don't talk of this matter, but I just want to know if it is possible. Just a question; I don't intend to challenge anything.

Well, Uriel, and Anu before him, told us that once we evolve, as animals, to a certain level where we start to become self-aware (as happens with pets often), we graduate to the human level, but are usually at that point born into the most primitive societies that live closest to nature. Think we've all encountered humans that seem to function almost like non-player-characters, automatons, going along, getting along -- like herd animals... most humans generally tend to be about eating, breeding, pooping, sleeping, hunting, gathering (attaining base resources), and have almost no spiritual or higher faculty. According to our sources, once the animal becomes human, it cannot go back...
Degeneration of the consciousness, de-evolution of the soul, then becomes animal-demonic -- unnatural creatures... we all know of very lawless and criminal sorts, those who revel and wallow in vileness and lowness... these, in death, de-evolve in a sense, but not into natural things... nature is not demonic, it is neutral and natural, and in harmony... but people (souls/spirits) can de-evolve into twisted bestial creatures of the shadows.
Indeed, one might say the collective of humanity is devolving into the animal-demonic -- twisted unnatural, warped and degenerate as a collective whole (with individuals who are resisting).
It is possible, as many dark occultists and dark esotericists know, to become Anti-Realized. That is to say, occultism/dark esotericism (such as Temple of Set) can lead one to realization and actualization of an anti or un nature... immortalization into the Shadow... In Jungian terms, being swallowed by your Shadow and even by The Primal or Praetor-Natural.
In the astral and etheric planes, many things we think of as myths, are in fact, real... astral reality is the collective dream plane -- where many things we dream, as a collective (as humanity) take on lives of their own, whole dream worlds in fact, temporal, changing as people disbelieve or change their beliefs on this or that... Teddy Bears for instance, as so many children believe they are alive, a hundred years of collective investment into them, has created little living teddy-bear like creatures in the astral plane --- though they have little hands and feet like children, having taken on characteristics of the children that have loved them so very much. In like, if someone focuses long and 'hard' on a particular fantasy mate, that mate can start to take on a life of its own, that can actually become rather vampiric (feeding on the dreamer's lust energy) -- thus creating a personal succubus or incubus.... such things can be positivized and sanctified... in a time when loneliness and lack of natural intimate outlets have become so difficult to attain, an astral mate may be all some people could ever have (but it is dangerous -- as is anything a fool might try).
Dark enties can, however, possess animals or manipulate them. It is good if you have a pet to put your hand on them, regularly, and pray over them -- visualize the divine light filling them, and imagine "God Bless You" written on their head.
No challenge... discussion of things is not a challenge. Very much liked the language 'discussion.' Just want you to focus on the basics, becoming a priest, before going into periphery segways and getting distracted by minutea.
There are many deep mysteries of the spiritual and mental planes that are very interesting, but not really entered into with depth within The Ahyeh.
