I just read the parable of the Sowing man in the New Testament. It is written that a portion of the seeds will fall to the side of the road and be thread upon and taken by the birds. Later in the parable Jesus states that it is the devil that misleads this portion. Here the birds are analogous with the devil.
Urianism teaches that the natural world is layered in shades. Spirits of predators intermediating in the nocturnal, fish and sea creatures in the spiritual ocean, the birds frolic in the layers of the air.
Urianism teaches that the vanities were/is at war with the elder powers of nature. Spiritual domain conquered by the vanities.
So the text in the New Testament can be seen as a golden thread in that it can be read as how the vanities of the sky descend upon the world to lead astray the faithful.
Am I on to something here or is it off?
Birds can be synonymous with 'the spirits of the air,' as the devil is often called 'the prince of the power of the air,' which, in the Sumerian sense would be Enlil -- who also separated heaven from earth, and disliked humanity for being to noisy.
So, yes, I would see this as certainly part of the golden thread... the idea, that across time, cultures, and different religious/spiritual traditions a line of interconnected truth is given and can be traced by looking for commonalities in the narratives.
