The Ahyeh, Monologue 32
“The family comes first, and the family of The Spirit supersedes all.”
This is a message that Spirit has given many times in The Ahyeh. More than that, however, is the fact that Spirit gave that message in many other holy writings over the ages.
We are all, at the ultimate level of reality, children of God. Urianism teaches us that we have an immortal part, a spark, which we call the Spirit. This part of us is a little piece of God, what we call the Maion. This spark comes into the world and takes up residence in a vehicle of matter. This vehicle can be anything from a single celled microbe to the planet itself. Indeed, we are taught that all the planets and even our sun, have a spark or Maion within.
From the experience in matter, the spirit develops a soul, or personality. Marrying the soul to the spirit, creates a living soul. This is what we aim for when we do the Marriage of the Holy Spirit in the Ahyeh. This living soul is what we believe will be our immortal selves when we leave this world.
Having said this, our spirit family would ideally include all life forms. However, in practice, this is not the case. Many souls turn away from the family, turn away from Monotheos…God. In practice, those who seek a relationship with God and strive to follow God’s teachings, who seek to learn Gods will and align themselves with it, are the family of Spirit.
Those who look to matter, to the world, to lesser beings, to themselves….they are the lost members of the family. They are the disowned by their own hands and hearts. We try to reach and teach them. We strive to lead the way for them and wish only for them to come home to the family. Yet, our father, the first father, God, has bestowed freewill upon them.
If I was in God’s position, I would lament my lost children. I would call out to them always. Indeed, many holy writings tell us that God is indeed calling out to us, all the time.
I believe that the family of God is one of the ways we can know the will, mind, heart and voice of God. Those around us that seek God, who look to God….are often the people that God uses to speak to us, to help us, to love us.
Yet, even when we turn away from the family of Spirit, God will still be calling. Perhaps God will call through the words of the homeless person on the corner. Maybe it will be in the words of a song, or the dialogue of a movie. Bumper stickers, license plates, billboards….the entire world before us in fact, is something God can use to speak to us.
Are we listening? Do we know when the things in our life are from God? Its not that hard to discern. The voice that calls for compassion, charity, love, morality, justice, beauty, honesty…that voice is the voice of Spirit.
The voice that tells you to glorify yourself, hurt others, take, steal, hoard…etc…this voice is not the voice of Spirit.
Brother, I like your vivid contemplation on this subject, it makes much sense to me!
